Terms of Service

Last updated: July 11, 2026
Draft notice: This is a starting template, not reviewed by an attorney. Before relying on this for SimpleMAR or any product handling health information, have it reviewed by counsel familiar with healthcare software and your state's requirements.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using any software distributed from this site ("Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not download or use the Software.

2. Freeware products

Products listed under the Freeware section are provided free of charge, as-is, for use without a purchased license. You may install and use freeware products on any number of devices. Freeware products may be discontinued, updated, or have features changed at any time without notice.

3. Licensed products

Products listed under the Licensed Software section require a paid license, purchased through our Stripe checkout. A license grants you the right to install and use the Software at a single facility, subject to the terms presented at checkout. Licenses are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.

Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable once a license has been issued and the download link has been accessed. Contact us before purchasing if you'd like to discuss a trial or evaluation period.

4. Acceptable use

5. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GC Software Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Software — including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or clinical/operational errors resulting from Software use. You are responsible for verifying that any output (including medication records, schedules, or timekeeping data) is accurate before relying on it.

7. Your responsibility for compliance

If you use the Software to handle protected health information, employee data, or other regulated data, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable law (including HIPAA, if applicable) and for implementing appropriate safeguards on your end. Use of this Software does not itself guarantee regulatory compliance.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
